We had some serious playing time in the leaves. There are so many more leaves than when I was a kid. I raked a big pile for the kids to play in and then we built a spacious leaf house. It was lots of fun.
It's been really nice to have Phill home this week. He made us an excellent dinner, and he watched the kids all day yesterday while I went to work and then to the Jack's Mannequin concert with MEgan last night. We had a lot of fun.
Lori stopped by tonight and brought us a family of bat cookies. Aren't they cute! Phill was reading to Irelynd up in her room earlier in the afternoon. I was downstairs and here comes Beanie-I said, "Beanie, where's daddy?" "He's asleep in the bean bag." I told her to be quiet and let him sleep. She went upstairs again, and then came down and told me that she had sung him "Twinkle, Twinkle" to help him sleep. She did later wake him to kill a big spider at the bottom of the stairs. She knows who to get for these kinds of things.
