Fall Harvest...and a fugitive....

Well, we spoke in church this afternoon. It went well. Londyn sang, "I Am Like a Star." She did such a fantastic job. Afterwards, she said, "I wasn't even scared, can I do that again next week?!" You know her dream is to be a singer on the stage. Lori and Kathy (Phill's mom) came and helped with the kids while we spoke. (Thank you-we wouldn't have made it without you.) While we were speaking Phill's turkey was smoking-doesn't it look fantastic. It was very tasty and moist.
Along with our turkey, we had mashed potatoes (Dres loved them) from Dean Judkin's garden, tomatoes from Rachelle's garden, carrots from mom and dad's, and apple crisp with apples from the Lancaster's. Fall is the best season ever! Phill is a really good cook. And Lori and Lyn did all the dishes-THANK YOU!
Well, Beanie didn't so so great in Nursery today. Phill dropped her off and I could hear her screaming down the hall. I waited outside the door to see if she would calm down. I looked in at one point and the leader was trying to hold her-Beanie was swatting at her hands (not meanly) yelling "no, no, I want my mom." Well a minute later, she made a break for it-all of a sudden the door swung open and out runs Beanie with that poor Nursery leader running after her ( I shouldn't laugh, but it was a little funny.) I took her with me and then spent the rest of church at Nursery. Ah-Beans-we traumatized her last night with the babysitter at the reunion.
