Marathon Day...

Phill is always laughing at me for having way too many plans for too little time. It was one of those days. We started at 9 AM with a soccer game. Londyn and Bronwyn played against each other-it was a fun game and Micaela held one of my kids while I held the other one. We definitely wouldn't have made it through the game without her. During the game, I was telling Mic that Beanie got to talk to Grandma on skype and Beanie said, "I like my grandma at my house."

Next we went to Layton to the J & J Nursery where we took a hay ride to their fields and you get to pick a pumpkin. It was really fun. Dresdyn loved the tractor. Then ice cream at Burger King. Beanie finally got brave and climbed up to the top of the toy with Londyn, only to have a boy there scream at her and she freaked out. I had to climb all the way up a small tunnel to get her. Later she told me, " you climbed up (the tunnel) , that was silly mommy."
Then on to Miss Rebecca' s baptism and lunch. The kids had a good time. Afterwards, we picked up a pizza at Papa Murphy's for dinner. Then to Riverdale to JoAnn's, now I would have just gone home, but they had the fabric I wanted for 50% off, plus I had an additional 20% off. Who knew the chaos that would ensue at JoAnn's (dad, I know you are laughing).
What is it about a fabric sale that turns grown women into crazy shopping cart wielding maniacs. We went and got the fabric and then pulled a number, 95. They were currently cutting 50. It was like the day after Thanksgiving. Luckily the line went a lot faster-the kids were really good. Poor Dresdyn was crying off and on, probably voicing the opinion of every male in the place. We finally got our fabric cut and went to check out. I thought this would not be a problem since 20 minutes earlier there was no line, wrong! another line. Crazy! Dresdyn cried the entire time in this line, he really hadn't gotten a nap, the poor little thing. Finally we got done. We finished up with the dollar store because I had promised the kids we could go there if they were good all day.
So we drove home with Irelynd eating chips and Londyn eating candy corns and trying to con Beanie out of her chips. it was a great day really, except for poor little man-who as you can see by the picture finally got to sleep.
