To Vernal and back...(part 2)

We took a couple of beautiful shots by the leaves. We couldn't all seem to time our smiles at the right time-oh well.

Here's Dres enjoying the picnic. He was very excited when Grandma Kathy gave him chips.
After the quarry museum, Phill, his parents, and the girls went to the dinosaur museum in town. I sat with Dres in the car while he took a nap and Shall and Dave went home and picked buckets and buckets of apples. After the museum we went swimming at Phill's parents hotel. Dresdyn loved the water (it was his first swimming experience) and Londyn swam by herself (with a life jacket) and Beanie really liked the warm hot tub.
We all went to dinner at the 7-11 Ranch Restaurant. It was really good. Jackson was very helpful with Dresdyn, he picked up everything he dropped and gave it back to him. Then home because we were all tired.
Shall and Dave grew pumpkins and let the kids pick one-they were so excited. They also sent pumpkins home for Ry and Mic's kids (they loved them). Actually, Dave threw last year's pumpkin out in the garden and this is what grew-17 pumpkins worth. The sun is in Jackson's eyes. We had a spectacular time. THANK YOU Palmers!!! for everything.
On the way home, Londyn wanted her feather sucker that Grandma had bought for her-well I had accidentally broken it in two. The emotional tirade that ensued would have given Hollywood a run for their money. She "wanted a new sucker now!" "Drive back and get one!" (we were almost to Heber). The poor thing was pathetic, she was so upset she couldn't stop crying. Even Beanie was saying, "it's ok Londyn, do you want my little sucker?" (She can be sweet, at times.) Finally, we got her calmed down. A couple of minutes later, her and Irelynd were laughing and playing. In the meantime, Irelynd had gotten her sucker, which she now wanted me to break in half so it could be like Londyn's. (too funny) I am supposed to put all the pieces back together somehow tomorrow-with dipping chocolate or something...until then-goodnight.
