Que es...fun?

We spent almost the entire day at Phill's mission reunion. This is him talking to his mission president. President Clark. We had a picnic lunch catered by Jimmy John's. They had face painting, balloons, and bounce houses for the kids-as well as lots of food and candy. Beanie was walking towards me and she said-"this party is lots of fun." Hey if you get the Beanie stamp of approval, it must be good. This is after she observed, "there are a lot of babies here." We had a break and then at six we went back for dinner, catered by Cafe Rio. They then had a program for the adults. They had childcare provided for the kids-4-5 families per room with 2-3 young women. Beanie made it the hour or so, but she did cry some-I thought the girls would come get me, but they didn't, oh well-it's probably good for her. (The one girl said-she wanted you guys so badly. Londyn said they came looking for me, but I was in the hall with Dresdyn and never saw them.) The meeting was really good. Both his mission president and wife spoke. They then had Magnum ice cream bars and a raffle. Phill won a Chili's gift card. It was all paid for by the Clarks (mission pres. and wife). How amazingly generous is that? We had a fantastic day and all the kids fell asleep in the car on the way home and were transported to bed. Yeah!
Phill and I have been working on our talks for tomorrow-agh-can't I just give them the Liberty Jail tour? :)
