"Frick or Freat"

I personally had a fantastic Halloween. It was a great day. We started out the day by carving eight pumpkins, yes eight! They looked awesome. Beanie and Lu have been so excited for Halloween to finally get here. They loved their pumpkins. Beanie loved the "angry bird" one Phill made and adopted it for her own.
After pumpkin carving, I went to school with Londyn because I was in charge of her Halloween party. I think all the kids had a good time. I took apple juice, but I really felt like I should be taking that nasty orange or green punch that we used to always take...eeewww. (Mom knows what I'm talking about-it would go on sale for 79 cents...)
After the party, we met Phill and the other kids and went to the business trick or treat. Here is the only picture of the kids in costume. They had a lot of fun. Uncle Dave figured he handed out 1,000 pieces of candy at it. Holy Cow! After that we went to Aunt Lyn's, Uncle Richard's, Aunt Colleen's and Uncle Dave's. As usual, they were all fantastic and lots of fun. Aunt Colleen had sloppy joes with pumpkin cheese faces and Uncle Dave had a grill set up and had hot dogs, hot cocoa, cookies, puffed rice balls, etc...we were very spoiled. Phill then went home with Dres to hand out candy-we had a total of 5 trick or treaters (that's including Londyn and Irelynd). I went to find Ryan and kids to trick or treat with-we never found them, but had a great time. Londyn was a trooper-she walked forever, and Beanie did not want to quit "frick or freating" (one day she'll pronounce her T's) . We finally found Ry at his house.
Then a couple stops in the ward and then home. Dres really liked his first Halloween, he loves to play with the candy. Beanie was warn out-she asked to go to bed...a very happy little girl. Londyn was claiming that she needed attention after Beanie went to bed because she never gets any. I think it's because Irelynd got to ride in the stroller all night. Too funny.
Here are the pumpkins. I thought we did a really good job. So we were riding in the car and Phill said to the girls-I don't know why you guys are scared of anything that moves (dogs, cats, bugs, etc...) Londyn says, I'm not afraid of everything that moves. I'm not afraid of giraffes and they move. It was really funny.
