Phill's workday started at 5 AM due to the new i-phone launch. When he got home he snugged with the girls on the couch. (In the snuggie-still getting used dad.) As you can see they were very excited for this. So it is another landmark day; I got my first "mom, you don't understand me." from my 5 year old. I thought it'd be years before that-oh well. She was upset for going to time out for being sassy to me. She said I didn't understand her because she didn't mean what she said. We later discussed that she felt sorry because she got in trouble-so she meant what she said, but regretted when it got her in trouble. Her sassy comment was something like-I wish people would stop asking me to do everything and pick up everything...after I had asked her to clean up. Ah-the world is tough, ain't it?
Lori and Lyn came for a visit-it was lots of fun and my kids so love them. It's always nice to see them and we love them lots.
