Airplanes, pretzels, and cell phones...

Brony came over and the girls decided that they needed to play in the water one last time since it was so hot (76 degrees). I let them have a water fight and then they sat in the sun drying off and eating.
Earlier today I saw Beanie (Irelynd) playing in the drawers in the kitchen and didn't think much of it. A few minutes later I felt something whiz past my head as she shouted "airplane." She had made her own airplanes with utensils and bag clips (pictured above). What a kid!
Londyn wanted to know if I knew the song "Are You Sleeping?" When I told her I wasn't sure exactly how it went, she said that was ok because "daddy's phone would know it." These kids and their technological world.
My mom and dad called and they arrived in Finland today and are doing well. My dad said that the flight was a "butt-buster," but all is well and the people are really nice. They were set apart and start their first shift at the temple tomorrow. Londyn prayed that the "missionaries would be protected by the power of God" tonight with no prompts. Do you ever just listen to your kids and are amazed at their amount of understanding and knowledge? I am.
