Warm Hugs

So for day 2 we took some coats, snow pants, etc... that the kids had outgrown to our local food bank/service center.  It was really great.  The man there took the time to tell the kids what nice things they had brought and that he knew just the little girls that needed coats.  We are going back next Tuesday to help him there.
The best part was on the way home when the kids started talking in the back seat.  Londyn was talking about how a kid at choir hadn't gotten any candy that had been passed out, so she gave her hers (and it was even Londyn's favorite kind). She then added, "besides, mom, I have lots of candy at home."  Irelynd told us about how a kid at school had lost her gloves and Irelynd said she found an extra pair in her bag so she gave them to the little girl to borrow.
Everyone is super excited for our project tomorrow.
A big event that happened today was the arrival of Elfie, our elf on the shelf.  The kids were super excited to find him in the girls Christmas tree.  Dresdyn wants it in his tree tomorrow-so each girl at separate times went and asked Elfie to please go to Dresdyn's tree tonight.
We also went to tithing settlement tonight.  Irelynd has been very hesitant to pay her tithing, she doesn't want to and asked what they do with that money anyway!   Well, we told her she had to answer to the Bishop for herself on if she paid her tithing.  She decided that she wanted to pay it rather than tell the Bishop that she didn't want to.  :)  Our Bishop did a great job explaining to the kids that Heavenly Father doesn't really need the money, but he wants us to learn obedience and get blessings.
We are going to Christmas Village tomorrow night to celebrate my birthday!
