Christmas Countdown

Last night at family home evening (I say that like I'm a consistent holder of this, I'm not, but trying) we decided to do a Christmas countdown that has us do one kind thing a day.  We are hoping this helps us feel the true meaning of Christmas more fully and I'm excited to do it.  We all came up with ideas of things to do.  So I thought I'd keep track of our countdown on here.
For our first night, we delivered the kids high chair they had outgrown to a family that is expecting their 4th child (their oldest is 6).  The mom told me thank you repeatedly.
I love, love Christmas time.  I love that the world seems just a little bit nicer and more caring.  I like that families get together and just spend time being with each other.  I am super excited that we get 2 weeks off from school to do things.
