So, I'm not much of a gardener and have had to ask the neighbors how to take care of some of my mom's plants. Well, I though we were just growing these two huge "bushes" of green plants in the flower beds until a week or so ago all these purple flowers bloomed. They are so beautiful and the kids love seeing the flowers that grandma left for them.
We planted a pumpkin patch in the neighbor's backyard (they are also on a mission). We have worked hard all summer to take care of it and this is our first pumpkin from it. It got so big, it broke off the vine on it's own. The kids have had a lot of fun watching them grow and can't wait for Halloween.
Irelynd is especially proud of her pumpkins. And yes, she wears her jammies a lot of days.
HOT POCKETS!!! (do you remember the commercial) I know, I know-but they were on sale and so EASY and the kids eat them. And some days are just those kind of days.
